The VAV Gallery: Black History Month Programming

The VAV is pleased to announce the opening of the Black History Month Residency Exhibition and accompanying Speaker Series.
The Black History Month residency exhibition showcases four artists in residence: Amara Barner, Miu the Muse, Camille Davis, and Sydnie Banes. Over the past two weeks, these artists accessed the gallery space and funds in order to realize their individual projects. The residents represent diverse mediums and perspectives, working to crack open the field of signification that is Black identity and fill it with their individual perspectives, desires, and values.
