The Concordia Undergraduate Journal of Art History is currently seeking out executive team members for the upcoming 2021/2022 academic year! We encourage anyone interested in gaining professional experience in writing, editing, journal publishing and/or event coordination to apply.

We are currently seeking applications for the following positions:


Managing Editor
  • Orchestrate and oversee all editorial activities
  • Work alongside the Editor-in-Chief in all aspects of CUJAH vol. XVIII
  • Work on CUJAH’s archive project
  • Shadow Editor-in-Chief to assume role in the successive academic year
  • $600 honorarium


Conference Coordinator
  • Organize and coordinate the annual CUJAH conference
  • Arrange call outs and jurying of submissions
  • Search for speakers for professional panels
  • Secure room bookings and catering
  • Work directly with the Editor-in-Chief, Communications Coordinator and collaborators
  • Hourly wage to be discussed 


Financial coordinator
  • Handles all financial matters related to the journal and conference, including grant writing, invoices, and payment requisitions;
  • Works directly with and is assisted by the Editor-in-Chief and Conference Coordinator;
  • Ensures that CUJAH obtains the proper rights to use images in the printed and online versions of the journal by contacting artists, museums, galleries or right-owners;
  • Participates in a democratic and anonymous selection of features, essays, and artworks to be included in publication;
  • Attends monthly meetings of the Executive Committee, and as such, has a vote within the Executive Committee.
