The FARR is pleased to announce we are launching our 2022 Artist in Community bursary program!
This program will provide fifteen Fine Arts Reading Room members with a $200 bursary to help pursue their studies, art practice, or general financial needs.
This program is an effort to provide financial assistance to our members who need it. In directing this this solidarity bursary, we are prioritizing our members who belong to the following communities: BIPOC members, members with disabilities, members belonging to the LGBTQ2SAI+ community, as well as those whose ethnicity, language, class, age, country of origin or religion may place them in a marginalized position within the settler-colonial white supremacist institutions we operate within.

The results of the jurying process will be communicated to applicants by May 1, 2022. Your application may be in French or English. To apply to be a juror:
We are looking for 2-3 people to sit on our jury. Jurors will be required to review the applications and consult the committee in its decision making process, and will be compensated with a $75 honorarium.
