Paul Litherland: How to Document Artwork Using Your Phone

Smartphones are more capable than ever, and although they don’t quite match the quality of a DSLR , they can still produce some very good images if you set it up just right. On November 24th, 2020, Paul Litherland presented a workshop via Zoom on how to photograph artwork with a cell phone. Even if you have a camera, you will still find the lighting tips useful.
The workshop covered photographing flat artworks both with reflective and non-reflective surfaces, and also photographing 3 dimensional artworks. In the second half, Paul demonstrated how to adjust the images in your phone using the Snapseed App from Google.
